What You Will Need To Do This Experiment:

a saucer
milk

four different colours of food colouring

detergent




What You Need To Do:
1. Pour milk into the saucer.
2. Add 1 drop of each colour into the sacuer around the edge.
3. Then, add 1 drop of detergent into the centre of the saucer.

What's Happening:

Sometimes milk stays together as one single liquid becuase of the surface tension. It acts like a skin of some kind so the milk stays in a puddle.Once you've added the detergent the surface tension of the milk breaks.

From the pull of the surface tension from the milk at the edge of the saucer causes the milk in the centre to move to the outside, taking the colours with it.The food colouring will keep miving until the detergent stops affecting the milk.

I think that it will work and it will react in a very good way. The colours will mix together and it will look very nice.
