Facts:
- The Great Barrier Reef is the largest coral reef in the world. It's also bigger thank a size of 2600km!
- It is also known to be the largest coral reef system in the world.

- There are more than 2,900 single reefs in the Great Barrier Reef.

- A large part of the Great Barrier Reef is protected by the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park.

- The Great Barrier Reef goes from the Torres Strait Island to Bramble Cay.

-There are exactly1,500 species of fish, 360 species of coral, up to 8,000 species of molluscs, between 400-500 species of plants and coral, 600 species of echinoderm, 17 types of sea snakes, 22 types of seabirds, 32 types of shorebirds, 6 types of marine turtles, and 30 types of cetaceans .
